Welcome to boating 101. Maybe try tying a small string on screen before installing over water. I have given many items to the god Neptune including patio chairs. The Ohio River is like a catfish out of water sucking at anything it can absorb.

We don't have the oval style, we have the 'rectangular' style with rounded corners. For ours, they really need to be installed with 2 people. One person on the outside, one person on the inside. If we're lucky enough to have a dock or a finger pier, then great. Otherwise, I get in the dinghy and tie the painter to the bow cleat. I run another line from the dinghy handle on the stern of the tube to the midship cleat on the boat to 'raft' the dingy to the boat. This works pretty well.

Ours, there is a small groove on the outisde of the frame that the screens snap into. This keeps them from interfering with the port hole seal when closed.

Where did you all get the screens? I just bought a 2008 2700 SE and there are no screens for the side/hull port holes in the cabin. Help!!
