Default Water flow issues

I have a 2001 Maxum 3500 SCR. Recently, when hook up to dock water, I seem to have a flow problem. When the faucets are initially turned on, there is no/little flow. After a minute water starts to flow.

I checked dock pressure and the regulator, both are fine. Is there a water filter somewhere that maybe clogged or something?

When using the water on the boat, with the pump, water flows fine.

Thanks

Dan

Welcome aboard

It probably the check valve not closing. It is either in or right after the freshwater pump. The city water ties into the water system after the pump.

Check valve..... need to search that out. Any way to troubleshoot it once I find it?

See if the freshwater tank starts filling when on the city water. If so the check valve is letting it back flow throught the pump.
