Default sun lovers??

I just purchased a 2003 29SCR. great boat, but a question about the canopy. My wife and I love the sun, so we fold back the canopy roof and metal frame so it lays on the radar arch. It hits the aft light pole and knocks it back, and the frame doesn't lay down nicely and sticks out and rattles under way. Any other way to get full cabin exposure to the sun other than taking off the frame entirely, or unzipping the canopy and leaving the frame up?

i know what you mean, on my 28 ft bayliner i took the roof off and sewed (needlework) zippers at the part where the frame went in to the roof, so i could take it easely off and zipp it on again when needed, i'll hope you understand what i mean....

greatz, ed
