Default starter motor

hey guys ,, i have a 2001 scr 2800 single with a 7.4l mag v8 I'm trying to get the starter motor off is there a special tool or something because its tight
i mean its really tight ,,any ideas or experience ?

Jeff have you been able to break the bolts loose? Once you do you need to support the starter as it weight puts pressure on the bolts making them hard to turn.

If you cannot break them loose try using some PB blaster and let it soak for a bit.

Do not forget you are working upside down so from looking down you want to turn clockwise.
