First welcome.

Make sure that you have turned the water heater on and that the valves are open. If the boat was winterized (Northern Climates) make sure that everything is connected.

You will not get hot water unless you are connected to shore power or have run or are running the motor.

Welcome aboard

The water heater working by one of two ways; first from 110VAC from either shore power or onboard generator and second if plumber by hot coolant from the engine.
