Wow. Looks really good.
I did notice one item in battery charger photo though..
Looks like there is a inverter mounted beside the battery charger.
Most inverters aren't ignition protected (i.e. Suitable for install in the ER with gas engines)
Can't tell if that one is OK or something you may want to move...

Thanks John. We never leave it connected, or on. For island trips, it allows all items on shore power to be ran off the spare batteries when required.

Yup, everything is finally almost finished on the Maxum. Meeting with the insurance adjuster on the Bayliner tomorrow.

Todays updates arent much, but boy were they frustrating. The boat did run great, but when I put the timing gun on it, it showed to only be running at 3 degrees timing. Upon inspection of the wires, I decided to replace the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires.

The boat did previously run great. I was shocked, and amazed to find all the ignition components were NINETEEN years old. The plugs were even painted the block color... proving everything was original! Holy crap. Anyhow they were a nightmare to get out, but I do feel much better now.

We put on the registration stickers and lettering today... and added the name. Buoyance II (RIP Buoyance I.)

So this means that you do use the inverter. To be safe, verify that it can be installed in this location. A simple spark in that area wouldn't be a great idea which is why the majority of them need to be installed somewhere else and not in the engine bay. I personally have never seen what happens, but have read about em.

Great boat build though! Enjoy watching the progress.

ASK and you shall receive! First trip took it out July 4th. Performed perfect. Went from Bay Village (Cleveland) to put in bay with 7 people. Then took it out again last Sunday, same thing. Runs and drives like a brand new boat. Zero issues. Attached are videos of said trips, the new upper decal going on (12' lower bow decal coming this week) and the interior projects. Stripping all hardware, cabinets, switch panels etc to wrap in blue granite and the gray from the outside of the boat. should turn out cool! Decided to replace the stove... with what I dont know. And some kind of titanium / pewter sink and faucet going in. I painted all the hardware graphite. And the light covers. All LEDs on interior and exterior now as well.

This weeks updates include some MUCH needed 12' matching decals. Some insignia for the dash and sides of the boat. the sink / stove / cabinets and carpet coming out and being replaced.

Man that's beautiful! You put a whole lot of work into that boat.
Can you tell me about the windlass? Is it a windlass or a handy unit to feed the anchor rode into the locker?

Very nice. I have the same boat, but keeping it mostly original. Were you able to anything with the trim above the sliding hatch, see picture? Mine needs replacement
