Default Looking for Manuals for 1990 2700 SCR

I purchased a 1990 2700 SCR last fall and have been busy getting it ready for this spring and summer. I have basically taken the boat apart and re-assembled it. It is amazing what people will do to a boat to "keep it running".

I am looking for an owners manual and maintenance manual if available.

The previous owner modified some of the systems under the step as you step down into the cabin. I am trying to figure out what everything under that step is and what should and shouldn't be under there.

I also have a larger gauge wire running directly off the batteries and up the port side to the cabin that I can't figure out where it goes or what it is for.

Check out the boat project and travel on our youtube channel. Search "Wandering Knapps" on youtube.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

If you send me a PM I will forward a copy of the 1990 wiring diagram for your 2755 SCR. It doesn't seem to post ok on this site, so for security, I would prefer sending you back a PM.

Yes, I sent him the manual direct (pdf files) since they were too large to post on this forum.

The manual is really useless except for the wiring diagram. Everything else is common everyday stuff that you can find in any Maxum 2700 or 2800 manual. The important stuff is in the manufacture of the OEM manuals / instruction sheets that were supplied separately by the companies who made the depth sounder, bilge pumps, water heater, head, galley range etc. etc. If you don't have them, they're simple to find by using "google".

I attach a copy of the wiring diagram which you'll find usefull.

Awesome!
Last year was our first with our Maxum... All was going well until we ran into motor issue with main seal... rebuilt now awaiting the water. Looking forward to a fun summer!

That post goes back over a year. Lucky I stay in touch with the site.

Here's the file again just in case you can't open the original one I posted back then - I also sent you a PM so you can contact me direct and I'll send the file directly to your email address.

I sold my 1990 2755SCR a year ago. The manual is pretty useless, since it's just a general piece of information and I no longer have the original or a copy.

You need to search on line, and find the manuals for the various items installed on the boat - trim tabs, fridge, electronics, lighting, port lights, galley stove, bilge pumps and so on.

Here's the wiring diagram, which about the only useful thing that was in the original manual.
