Default Headliner removal question.

Hi All,
I have a 95 3200 SCR, I was wondering if anyone has removed the vinyl headliner that is above the galley and table area? How is it attached? If removed can it be reused?
I noticed that the railings that run down both sides of the sun pad are leaking above the V Berth and some of the bolts are above the vinyl.
Thanks in advance
Mike

These are typically installed with a spray adhesive. You may be able to reinstall but I would think this would be rater difficult. When initially installed the material is over sized and trimmed once installed.

I think you might be talking about the normal headliner material that is over the V Berth. ... I'm referring to the vinyl pieces that are above the galley area, the vinyl looks like it might be rapped around a panel with foam on it, and then the panel is installed to the ceiling. I know that a lot of the inside trim pieces are heald in with Velcro. ... I'm hoping someone can confirm that that's the case with these?

OK not sure how they are held in. I would think Velcro would only be used on access panels.

I believe they screw the panels into place, then upholster them. I believe the vinyl and padding need to be removed to reveal the screws in the panel underneath.

The side panels are screwed through the rubrail, so to remove that you need to remove the rubrail cap, then find the screws which are holding the interior panels and remove them that way.

There are no screws on the exterior deck, no screw caps in the vinyl on the inside. The item is not 'glued' into place (Otherwise people would be posting "Anyone find their headliner on the floor of their 20 year old boat?").

There is only one logical conclusion remaining.
