Welcome aboard

There are several 3000 owners here so one of them should be able to help you.

If you go into the engine compartment, can you see the back-end of the fuel tank? You should be able to trace the fuel lines to the tank. The fuel line, vent line and sender ports should all be right next to each other.

Looking at the owners manual which gives very little information you cannot see the tanks from the engine compartment as they are closed off by the bulkhead. There may be an access panel in the midberth and if not it would then be from the deck above.

Typically there are screws that hold the panel on. You may need to look closely for them as they hide in the carpet fibers.

Stbd tank can be accessed thru the top panel in the aft cabin.
It's held on by Velcro, so working a finger under the panel in the center is needed to 'bow' the panel enough to work the ends out from under the adjoining panels. Reading light wires will have enough slack to allow it to 'hang' while addressing the tank needs.
