Default aft cabin set up

Greetings all,

We spent the first night last night on our 99 3000scr. Our three kids slept in the V berth forward and my wife and I planned to sleep in the aft cabin. I had seen in the past that in 2013 GOTSMART had explained the set up. We still couldn't make heads or tails of it. I believe that all 5 cushions are used? If someone would PLEASE post a photo of the Rubic's cube that is the cushion set up for sleeping I WILL BE FOREVER IN YOUR DEBT.

Thanks
Bush

Default aft cabin cushion placement on 3000SCR

We had the same confusion when we got our 3000scr (ours is a 1998). You end up not using the middle square cushion at all, which we didn't understand at first. When set up, it leaves a little cut out for you to put your feet when you sit down or get up. I had searched all over the internet to see if there was some other way to place the cushions so that there was not cut out, but couldn't find anything. If you figure out a better way, let me know, lol!
Happy cruising!
Claudia

That middle cushion you don't use turns the u-lounge out back into a berth. Under my dinette couch I found the boards for setting up the aft u lounge.

Is that the three long boards with the wooden rails? I've also got three long skinny cushions that are the same material as the top deck cushions. I'm not sure where they are supposed to go either.

No idea on those cushions, but yes, those are the boards. I haven't set it up yet, but I measured and it looks like it works that way.

Default outside deck cushion placement

Here's how we placed the outside deck cushion placement to make another lounging/sleeping area. Do you not have these white cushions? (same material as outside u-shape seating.)

Default galley berth cushion set up

As a matter of fact I do... I had posted all these pics a while back for a fellow Maxum Boat Owners Facebook page member (are you on there as well? It's another great way to connect with other Maxum owners).

I don't have a separate pic of it, but underneath the galley berth cushion is a little white "table" with 4 legs that fold out that supports the top cushion. Hopefully you have all the components.

Have fun "sleeping around" your boat, lol!
