Default 1994 maxum 2400 scr BBQ Mount!

Hey guys,

I have been through and through west marine looking through mounts. How are you guys mounting your bbq grills on the boat? problem I am running into is that the rails in the back on the sides are slanted and not strait.

Please let me know how you guys mounted you grill!!

Thanks!!

We mounted ours to one of the angled rails connected to the rear bimini. We adjusted it so it's level really in one place, but works great. No movement at all, no additional holes to be drilled into the boat, and no additional expense of a mount.

We love our Magna grill btw - cue the terrible cell phone pic.

Our 2400 has flush mount rod holders on the left and right sides at the back, so we used the Magma rod holder mount with our BBQ. Works on either side and we can swivel the bbq so as to use it while standing inside or on the extended swim platform.
Cheers

The 'Round Rail Mount' will work fine at any angle. It doesn't require that the rail be horizontal. The portion that connects to the rail can be at any angle, then mount the grill to the post so the grill is level. Take a look at the 'round Rail Mount' which is the one listed at the top (see link below).

This might be a little late, but I took a few more pictures last weekend during our trip.

As an aside, we do not leave it up when we run. Usually we wrap it in its cover and stow it in the birth just aft of the anchor locker.
