Default 1991 2300 SCR questions from new boater & skylight info

The main seat at the helm is for 4 people, 2 face front and 2 rear. It slides on a rail, fore and aft. Q: will it fold flat?
The fridge has been replaced. Present fridge has no switch, no thermostat. Assume when shore power disconnected it automatically goes over to batteries. Q's: is this correct? and how do I turn it off if I don't want the fridge on?

Both skylights were severely cracked when I bought the boat. I took them out fairly easily in the hot sun few days ago. Getting 2 new ones custom made at a local plastics shop. About $205 for the two. I'll need fabricate my own gaskets and seal with a good caulking compound.

Very much appreciate all the good info here.

RR...welcome to the zoo..first off..might wanna introduce yourself......
seats...probably not....a pic might help for us to tell you...
fridge...yes...there should be a breaker near the batt switches that will shut it off...if there isn't a switch or breaker anyplace like at the helm station...then you may need to kill the batts at the batt main switches...

when you go to re-isntall the lights...use 4200 by 3m....unless your talking about the flip up port lights...then make sure you get the 1" rubber "D" gaskets...they will probably work the best..

Sea Puppy-thanks for quick response:
1. I did introduce myself yesterday in the General Newbies post
2. Seats-OK
3. Fridge-will check with marina as they know the boat; will also look around myself
4. Lights-I'm talking about the two dark plastic pieces on the fore deck that measure approximately 14 inches by 24 inches each. I'm guessing Maxum didn't use them too much.
I'll try and post pics soon.
