I did end up getting the black 4000UV, I'll report back on how difficult the job is after I complete it.

Peregrine plastics and acrylics. www.peregrineplastics.com. I just had a set made from my old ones they made a buck of them I suggested they keep it as there seemed to be a demand for them

Hope that helps

I guess I forgot to report back on this job.

It went pretty easy. The one mistake I made on one side was to do this on a hot sunny day and I took my time. I tried to lay out the 4000UV in one complete line around the whole perimiter, and then went back to smooth it a little with a wet finger. By this time the 4000UV was starting to set, so the results were not as perfect as I would have liked.

On the other side, it wasn't such a hot sunny day, and I did each side separately. It came out looking perfect and professional.

So far (one season) it's held up as waterproof, no more leaks! I currently have the boat for sale so I hope I don't get to find out how it lasts a second season.
