Default Standard or Reverse Rotation Force 90?

Hey everybody, first post here...i tried looking everywhere on the internet and this forum before asking this seemingly simple question. How can i tell if my prop is standard or reverse rotation? I have a 1990 Maxum 1800 with a Force 90, is there a way to tell from the HIN number? thanx in adavance

welcome to the zoo....it's an easy question but the standard is as your looking at the prop from the rear of the boat....if it turns to the right...that's the standard right hand rotation..

left turning is reverse rotation....

you can also see it....by just looking and touching the prop.....

you put your hands or fingers on the top end of the left and right blade of the prop ( 3 blades.... forget 1 you only have 2 hands....), stretch your arms....wich arm you have to stretch the most is the way your prop turns.......to me it's saver....you do'nt have to start the boat and touch the prop while motor is running.............to me all that counts is safety for all...
