Default Maxum trailer 2 bunks?

Hi guys, I just purchased a 1999 2100 SR that came with a "Maxum" tandem axle trailer with hydralic brakes. I noticed that currently the boat clears the trailer fenders by about 2" per side, and that there are only 2 bunks on this trailer. Are there any benefits to having more bunks? I did have an issue with getting the boat lined up correctly with one side of the boat nearly touching the fender and the other sitting up about 4". It seems that every trailer I see has 4 or more bunks on it. Is 2 sufficient? Thanks for any advice.

Default Trailering

I've had this problem what I learned is that it's how far you have the trailer in the water when you load the boat. If you don't back the trailer in as far and winch the boat up it will center a lot better especially if the ramp you are using falls of to one side or the other.
