Default Force 120 Year Model??

Hey guys, just got a XR 1700 with a 120 Force and trying to ID the date of the motor to replace the impeller. It has a serial number that reads "OE XXX95X" (X's have replaced the real numbers to protect the innocent). Does this mean that it is a '95 model?

Any feedback on replacing the impeller on this motor would be appreciated.

thanks,
shasta1

I did a quick search and found this:
http://www.iboats.com/basics/serial_number_year.html
Basically says that Force does not use any info in their Serial Number that will indicate model year.
Instead you have to search for your SN range to ID what it is and what years it was made in. The chart for that is here:
http://www.iboats.com/basics/force.html

Hope this helps.
