Lightbulb Does really NO ONE own a maxum 1900 xr ???

Hey Guys.
I am the owner of a MAXUM 1900xr and was looking for some pictures because i think i'm missing 1 cushion.
I come from Holland and this boat is very rare up here...
no one has one...
so i'm looking for someone who can help me make my boat complete !?..

At the back of the boat i can put the seats up on both sides...
so i think there has to be a cusion in the middle that makes it a sundeck !

Who can help me?

Thanks so far.
Greetz from Holland

Hello and welcome aboard.

Is it a 1900 XR or an SR. I couldn't find any XR's online for sale. Also, what year is the boat? Do yo have a picture of the area in question?

We can't help if we don't know the year.

It's tough to tell. I only found one pic from outside the boat. The HIN should be on the Starboard side of the transom. The last two digits should tell you the year. If you snap a pic of the area of the boat in question and post it that might help too. BTW- Does the Netherlands have a "No Ugly Chicks" ordinance? My goodness!!!!!

Robbie,

From the pictures I think I know what your looking for but don't think you'll find it. We spent a lot of time in college back on boats exactly like yours from all different manufacturers and I can't say I've ever seen the sun deck conversion for those mid 90's and earlier model years. The hatch sun pad really didn't kick off until after the turn of the century.

Now with that said it's a great idea. Between some good wood and a upholstery shop I'm sure you could invent something that would work perfectly. (Not to mention even if it was available the cost would be lower to do it yourself.) Get some plywood, a jigsaw, and find a good upholstery shop and go to town.) Any young unmarried guy has to have a sun deck, it's the law man.

heh - It was that way when I was there years ago. I nearly walked into a few street light poles with my head on a swivel, not watching where I was going. Very friendly too.

The boat is definitely older then 1994. My guess from just looking at the pictures is 1991. Like shrew said look at the last two HIN numbers to know for sure.

Regardless of the year. There was never a center pad available from the factory.

The last two numbers of the hull are 92.
So 1992

but have you seen the pictures?
why can they go up? if you cannot make them a sundeck...
looks to me a bit useless?

hai rob,

one of the reasons is that when you raise them you can put stuff under it, something like a coolbox. if you place the coolbox somewhere else it's always standig in your way. and if you want a little sundeck.....try to make something of your own......or buy a maxum with an inboard, then you have a sundeck for the ladies.....

greatz from almere, ed

rob one more thing.......it's your own boat so you can do with it wathever you want...... but..........on your picture on hyves i see that you are sitting on a part of the chair that originaly is made for your back......if you want to keep the seat nice, clean and not damaged at the top, take place in the seat and not at the top, it will save you a lot of bucks letting it overhaul with a new leather......

of te wel je stoel gaat naar z'n grootje als je zo op de rugleuning zit...en dat is zonde want je boot ziet er mooi uit.

mazzels en groet, ed
