Default Bent the fin on my outboard...can it be straigtened?

On my OB that I just bought, the fin on the drive is bent (not the anode) to the left slightly (touched a rock). Can it be bent back without braking it if heating f.ex with a heatgun and the ligthly hamered straight holding a support on the backside? Any experience? Mag

it can be heated and straighened..but there's more too it since it's made of aluminium....I'd really suggest you take it to a locak prop shop and they know how to do it properly without cooking the seals and bearings........
