2100sc3 propeller

Hi, Newbie to the world of Maxum and still getting to grips with my boat...

It's a 2100SC3 with the 5.0mpi 260hp engine.

Seems to ride high at the front and would have expected it to plane a little quicker. Also feels more vibration than I would have expected.
Was considering a new prop and a local marine mechanic was going to advise but I am yet to catch up with him.

Was planning using the boat for general cruising but also some wakeboarding & waterskiing.

Liked the look of the High Five props but would really aprecaite some feedback on what everyone (type and size) are using and how they are getting on with their respective props.

coansha, welcome aboard.

Have you tried adjusting the outdrive trim to see if better time to plane can be achieved. Once on plane trim drive in to get the bow down. If you don't already have them either trim tabs or smart tabs will help here.

For cruising I would think either a 14 1/2 X 17 or 14 1/2 X 19 three blade prop would work. Regarding water sports I am sure others will help here.

Which Outdrive do you have? (e.g. Apha I, Bravo III, etc)
What is the outdrive Gear Ratio?
Right now, what is you Max RPM at Wide Open Throttle?

Have you gone to the Mercruiser Prop calculator yet?
