Welcome and Congrats on the new boat. Here's a start:

Mercruiser Manuals:

https://mercnet.mercurymarine.com/li...0LaNiOahaNb3z0

Maxum Owners manuals (online):

http://www.maxumcustomercare.com/manuals_index.html

A few related threads:

Cockpit Carpets:

I hope this helps.

nice shrew..........you wrote al the links down, so i dont have anything to link anymore.......txs.......(hahahaha)....the only problem is, is that the original carpets are quiet expensive so maybe it's an idea to google on the internet and compere prices and quality with each other. the original carpet of maxum is water resistant but it's going to smell when it gets wet because of the rubber foam that's on the backside of the carpet...it holds the water for a long time.....and when you put the cover on, and come back after a week (or 2) your carpet smells like.....(hell).....pppppfffffffttttttttt......... .......there is a carpet on the market wich does'nt have the rubber foam at the backside but also is water resistant....it's available in several colors... and it's easy to put the snaps in...i used it in my 28 ft bayliner for years ago.......when it gets wet.....you hang it over something and within 15 minutes al the water is gone and the carpet is dry....and it's less heavyer then the original.......it's easy to clean with the high pressure watergun machine (could not find the right translation word)......at the end of the season i cleaned my original maxum carpet of my 2400 sc3 and it took 3 days to totally dry (yes in the sun....and it still smells) the carpet i'm talking about has the size off 2 meters (about 79 inch) wide, and you can buy it per length of 1 meter (40 inch) than you have 2 square meters for about 15 euro (that's about 11 dollar).......for the original of my 2400 i payed 600 euro (about 450 dollar)

greatz, ed
