Post 1994 1800 SR Deck replacement

Does anyone know the denisty of the original foam under the deck. I am replacing a soft deck and wet foam and need to know if I should order the 2 lb or 4 lb foam from uscomposites.

the denser the foam the better for strength........

Thanks. can you tell me what is normally used as peanut butter to mount the stringers and deck to the hull?
