Default 1800SR3 Bow Filler Cushion - COMPLETED

Could anyone upload photos of their bow filler cushion please.
I am going to make one for my 2004 1800 SR3 and would like to see how a genuine one fits together and slots into place. I have seen one photo of one in place from above but hope someone could post some from different angles and if the board is separate from the cushion itself etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
The 1900sr3 and 2000sr3 should be the same principle so photos of that too should be helpful.

Once completed I will be posting photos of my custom one in the hope it will help others.

Cheers.

Made one for our 2008 1800SR3 a month ago. Made card board templates of where the cushion mount sits and the cushion itself. Cut them out of 3/4" plywood and got the cushion board covered, 4" finished height. Painted the bottom board and screwed the two together. Three 3/4" holes were drilled in the boards for venting before painting and covering. Works well, only had some poor pictures off the internet to work from. Cost me half of what the dealer wanted. Sorry, no pictures the boat is at the lake.

Tempate back in place to draw around the edge of the cushion.....

Template cut and made into another piece of ply.....

Both boards drilled with 20mm holes for ventillation to foam.....

Now to find somewhere local to upholster the smaller board with a 3.5" foam cushion using the leatherette I already bought for the project.

Watch this space.....

Default Cushion Completed!!

Finally got time to complete the bow cushion.
The upholsterer did a great job trimming the cushion with firm 4" foam.

I then painted the plywood white and trimmed the base board with the same white leatherette, before screwing both board together with SS screws.

And here it is....The Final Results which I'm REALLY pleased with!!
