The upper doghouse is plastic, glass wouldn't stick very well. The vertical pieces are 1/8" thick by 3/4" wide. It's much stronger than it ever was from the factory.

Foam was soaked but the stringers don't look too bad, I'll update once we get a good look at them.

I'm having a shop do the bulk of the floor and stringer work so hopefully it'll be back together in a couple weeks.

Very nice work. Since I am working on the same boat I will keep following here. Thankfully my floor seems solid, but having to do seats. I thought the seat bases were built in & not easily removed. But does not look that way from the pics.
I have ordered a new fold able Wise back to back for the port side, then going to put a smaller operators seat on a pedestal on the starboard side.

So looking at the pic I have a question. I have a 89 1700 IO, but the pad on the back goes all the way across the stern. Different years? Or is this a custom setup here?
