Default Winter Madness

The admiral and I were really looking forward to our trip down to St Louis for their boat show this weekend but ole man winter had other ideas.

According to the weather man it sounds like the snow will start coming down saturday morning and won't stop until monday. The journey for us is all interstate and about 3 hours long but we just don't or want to deal with all the snow and driving in it.

I know I'm venting but what the heck.

There is a local recreation show that if we must get out of the house we can go to.

When will it end..

Winter that is :-)

Roger

I feel when winter finally ends it will be replaced by Spring showers and boating season will have a late start :-(

Looks like we are finally going to get a winter in Az this weekend. Low 60's and rain over the weekend.

Boat drinks. Boys in the band ordered boat drinks.
Visitors just scored on the home rink.
Everything seems to be wrong.

Lately, newspaper mentioned cheap airfare.
I've got to fly to Saint Somewhere.
I'm close to bodily harm.

[Chorus:]
Twenty degrees and the hockey games on.
Nobody cares; they are way too far gone,
screamin' "Boat drinks," somethin'
to keep them all warm.
This morning I shot six holes in my freezer.
I think I got cabin fever.
Somebody sound the alarm.
I'd like to go where the pace or life's slow.
Could you beam me somewhere, Mister Scott?
Any old place here on Earth or in space.
You pick the century and I'll pick the spot.

I know I should be leaving this climate.
I got a verse but can't rhyme it.
I gotta go where it's warm.

Boat drinks.
Waitress, I need two more boat drinks.
Then I'm headin south 'fore my dream shrinks.
I gotta where it's warm.

I gotta go where it's warm.
I gotta go where it's warm.
I gotta go where there ain't any snow,
where there ain't any blow,
'cause my fin sinks so low.
I gotta go where it's warm.

I hear ya Mike, its a beautiful friday afternoon, sun is out , 40 degrees. The voodoo weather man says 1 inch tonight, 1 inch saturday and 3 to 5 sunday for snow fall. When will it end.

On the news has night about the farmers will be about 2 or 3 weeks behind in planting because of the ground being frozen so far down.

We were going to take our grand daughter to our local rec and boat show at the civic center this evening, but she has a cold and fever so looks like the admiral and I will do it ourselves.

Come on spring!
