I must have been a real turd this year...

Santa left me with a head/chest cold like no other, been laid up for the last couple o' days without much energy! I've got a compounding list of chores stacking up and its freezing cold outside!

Scored a nice TomTom, wishing I had the cash for a fish finder by springtime when I hit the water!

Oh yeah, here's a bit of useful advice- I wouldnt suggest anyone using the perko style fender hangers found at westmarine, the little metal job that slides into the metal female end tends to come dislodged while the boat bobs around at the dock- now I need to ask Santa for a new pair of boat fenders, cause I've lost 'em!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Santa left me a new VHF Handheld, a mount, a new PFD (better fit), Chapmans, captains jacket with boat name, hat with boat name, boat bag filled with some little items (sun glass holder, water tight bags for phone / radio, etc. / boaters pocket guide) and a few unrelated boat items. Can you tell this was first Christmas since buying boat?!! Also, with Chapmans and pocket guide, guess the admiral wants me to study a bit more! Santa got the admiral a new I MAC computer, a necklace and a hat with boat name. Was thinking of also getting her a "how to back the trailer" guide but thought that might be a bit obvious! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and best wishes for 2010!

Yeah, that could have ended badly for you Brian. LOL

Didn't actually get much for the boat. A "Captain's" hat (regular balll cap with "captain" stitched into it), a couple of can cozies, and a book called "Powerboat Handling" (which is actually quite good for a relative newby). I think she kept the boat presents short because she remembered that I'll be buying trim tabs for it in the spring.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Dan,

Yip, every so often I DO think things ALL the way through....not as often as I probably should though!
