Here in Maryland we had 80’s yesterday and today low 60’s. Typically I boat till the end of the month but I have a torn meniscus in my left knee and will most likely need surgery which I’ll find out on Monday. Might have to pay to get the boat winterized for the first time, oh well things could be worse.

Good news is that I’m finally in my hose that was under renovation for 9 months but now my view is Sue Creek. Just need to get the pier lengthened and lift put in but that will be next year.

Hopefully winter won’t be to bad for everyone.

Sorry to hear that Mike.
Did you have the work done on your knee?
Hope it all works out for the best.

As to putting the boat away for the winter I do not do that as I do not boat in the summer as we do not like having all the crazies around when we boat so we boat after labor day until it gets cold then we start again when we start getting warmer weather and quit before memorial day.
good luke to all.
Don

Hi Don, my surgery is November 8. I pushed it out to get through some major work events. Thanks for the best wishes.

Always a sad day when the boat comes out for the season. Getting her winterized and covered without being rained or snowed on is awesome. I got extremely lucky this year. And I was able to reuse my scuffling and shrink warp from last year, bonus.
