Default Phone phone phone?

Hi everybody

Nothing earth shadering but my cell phone contract has expired with Verizon and I am going back and forth with either a droid model or an I phone. I am one of the few that has a moto zoom pad and really like it.I say this only because of it operates about the same of the droid phone. This will be my first data phone. My wife went from a droid to an I phone and will never go back to a droid phone.

Comments , suggestions which way to go?

Thanks

Roger

My wife has an iPad and a non iPhone touch screen something or other that I couldn't be bothered with. I can't even dial on the friggin thing. I push 66 and it dials 22. I literally can't do anything with the POS. She tells me it calibrated for her. I tell her if she needs me to dial 911 for her and the only phone around is hers.....well I hope the next one likes boating as much as she does. LOL

Seriously swap phones with your wife for a day and see how you like it.

I have an android based phone, Galaxy SII, and my wife has an iPhone 4S. She prefers mine over hers.

If you're considering an android based phone see if your carrier offers the HTC One. An excellent phone.

Yes, I am in the business.

I have the Droid Charge and it's a pretty good phone. Hard to see the screen in bright sunlight though.

Again my wife has the I phone and the pics that she takes are great. I am leaning toward the I phone but yet to make the big decision....but thanks for all the input.

Love my Sony Ion running Android. Has a 12megapixel camera and takes great pics. Only downside is service with ATT. Apple products seem to suck you into buying a their stuff so it can be interconnected. But you pay a significant premium for all that hardware for what I consider to be a minimally improved experience.
Just my $.02

Heck I remember when I was a kid and you wanted to talk out with your friend you had to push the door bell or bang your knuckles against the door of his house. If you called the house phone and nobody answered, you waited a few hours and called again. LOL

You should have saved the walk and tied two Tin cans together with string!

I now use a Droid but sometimes I wish I still had my Motorola "bag phone". I never missed that one ringing for sure.

I was at the Miami boat show several years ago where some guy was hawking a waterproof phone bag for $15. I use a sandwich bag for my wallet, cellphone and car keys. I've taken several accidental plunges and they work everytime. Cheap too.
