Default Windshield gasket material deteriorated

Hi guys & gals;

I just joined the club and I am glad that I did. I read some of the replies on the forum and it looks like people are using this club the way it was intended. I will do my best to help anyone when I have the chance.

I have a 1991 Maxum model 2100SC. Just bought it last fall and have been so busy that I am just getting a chance to work on her. I took advantage of the rain day to work inside (under the canvas) on some of the inside issues and noted immediately that I have some rain intrusion along the two ends of my windshield.. which runs along the side fiberglass sills and onto the deck. I had a look at the bottom portion of the windshield exterior area and noted that the rubber gasket seals are badly deteriorated.. which I know is typical for this age boat. But,, I am having trouble finding rubber gasket seal material for boat windshields. Something that I thought would be relatively easy to find is not. Anybody have a site where they sell the various types of rubber gasket material used along the perimeter of boat windshields..? I would greatly appreciate any help on this.

Thanks,
katfishric
