Default Stains on the vinyl

So during many improvements and maintenance after my first boating season I menage to put some trim tab oil on vinyl seat. It left yellow stain impossible to remove with ordinary cleaning products. My seats are in pretty good shape so it made me really upset. I will appreciate any recommendations how to get rid of the stain. I was also thinking about putting white over it. I think I heard something about spraying the vinyl but I'm not sure if I'm correct. Thanks in advance.

There is a product called pink away that I heard works great but costly. Try googling it.

There are several vinyl cleaners on the market, most work well. Did you try these.

The vinyl sprays I have seen in the past (been awhile) cracked in a few years

I've looked at the pink away product and it looks like a good stuff but made specifically for pink mold stains. Not sure if that will help with yellow oil stains.

I bought a product a few years ago that got the yellow discolor out of my hull fiberglass in different areas.
I have not tried it full strength on vinyl. If dilute it and increase with each use, it may get the stain out.
It's called Tuff-Enuf

I’ve personally had a lot of luck with Westley's Bleach White Tire Cleaner. Spray it on and let it set about a minute, scrub it lightly, repeat if needed. I always make sure to follow it up with a good rub down of warm water to remove all the residual bleaching substance then a liberal amount of Armor all to recondition the vinyl after I’m done. Nothing works better on white/light tan.

Edit -IF you use the bleach white you might start with about 15 seconds and work your way to greater/longer time if needed. Getting it TOO light is almost as bad as a stain

Thank you guys. I tried couple different detergents and none of them made a significant difference but I feel between all of those applications and exposure to the sun stains got lighter and are not that noticeable.

Starbrite mildew remover is a fantastic product. Cost $14 at Marina and worth every dollar.

Have you tried the magic eraser? Walmart has them... they will take off anything!! Just add a little water to the sponge and scrub!

Magic Eraser will destroy your vinyl over time. I would never use it!

Has anyone ever tried McGuire's degreaser on vinyl seats and if so, what was your experience? Saw a detailer use it. Also, this may be a really dumb question, but you never know what people have tried and seen work. The boat I just bought (see below), has a couple of brown sun burn areas. besides redoing upholstery, has anyone tried anything that has lightened it up, made look better?

P.S. Just bought my second Maxum this weekend. Back in boating business. It's a 1999 2100 SC. First was a 1994 2400 SCR.

I contacted the resource listed for replacement upholstery (Canvas Plus) since I have some stains on my vinyl too. She suggested IOSSO cleaner; I ordered it and will try it in a few weeks. It comes in a powder and you mix it with water in a spray bottle. If it does the trick I'll let everyone know.

I finally had a chance to use the IOSSO cleaner on the vinyl; it completely worked. The only thing that did, actually; tried all sorts of different treatments and this one really worked. You mix the powder, wait until it turns from blue to clear and then spray it on the vinyl (which you wet first). Let it sit for 15 minutes and then the stains came right up. I followed up with 303 sealer and the vinyl looks brand new.
