I ordered canvas from Letas last year for my 2800 , great quality for the price ,mine fits great. I would suggest going to a fabric store and buy a good snap installer and if you have twist locks sailrite sells a common sense eyelet hole cutter for about $65 ,I tried to install 1 with the punch that was included and took about 20 min. for 1 twist lock. With this tool it puts in the 4 holes for the washer and the oval hole for the twist lock in about 2 min.,well worth the money. If you don't want to spend that much contact me ,and you can use mine.

Default Leta's Top Shop

I posted earlier about the problem with my new top I got from Leta's.The front and sides fit fine. Today, I put several snaps on the top of the arch and took this pic. The back doesn't reach the snaps. I think I'm going to send her my old one and the one she sold me so she can make a proper fitting one....or I may just make extensions for it as she said she'd send me the fabric.

I just purchased my 1995 3200 SCR in October. Leta's says the top I already had is not factory made....but it fits fine. The new one does not fit.

Attached is a picture of the problem area.

Also asked about the eisenglass thickness and she said 30 gauge, which "is what OEM was"... So we shall see.
I wonder if it was my order, lol. That's about what mine should be.

She couldn't find a working phone number for the order she confused mine with.

It might just need to stretch. The glass does shrink some, and needs to be stretched in to place, from what I understand.

It's short by about 2 inches. That's too much to stretch.
My correct phone number is on my email to her along with the hull number.

She has never called me but has been good about responding via email pretty quickly.

Hmm. She never sent me a confirmation email like she said she would... I wonder if I should give her a call in the morning...

If she mixed up our orders, I only live about 1.5 hours north of Jacksonville. We could swap orders.
I live in Richmond Hill GA.

I'm sending her both my old top and new one she made so she can make me one that fits.

Default Letas Top Shop

I have shipped my old top and the new one she made...shipping cost $101.00

I'm hoping there is no further charge to make the top fit like my old one does. All it needs is some extensions on 2 corners. I told her I would accept that instead of a whole new back.

sometimes you can use a hair dryer on low if the glass is new to stretch it a little

So, I previously posted about Leta's top shop problem. She made me a new top that was too short on the sides. I shipped her my old one and the one she made me. She added strips to the lower sides. I got my top back one side is still too short to reach the snaps-the other side reaches the snaps fine. Not sure why she couldn't make it fit when I paid $100 to ship it back to her. Well, anyway, I made a 3 inch strip of canvas and attached it. It's not beautiful but it'll have to do. I'm need to get some beige canvas that matches the boat color and it will look better.

I tried to attach a pic. Not sure if I did that right.

I got my top from Leta, and it's great! I haven't installed the rear curtains yet, but so far everything is fitting great! There is a tiny little spot were the stitching through the bias tape missed the fabric, but it wouldn't have been noticeable until the fabric was stretched.

That being said, it takes a LOT of stretching to get this in right. Had to put a center snap, stretch, find next snap position, release tension and instal snap, repeat.

I'll get more pics up once I'm all the way finished. Forgot to take a pic of the curtains.

Is it possible you started on the wrong snap up on top? The port aft curtain and door don't look as tight as I would expect them to be. If you started one snap over, that could explain the gap at the bottom, and the door part not being stretched taunt.
