Bravo 3 drive oil change stupid question
2002 Bravo 3 drives.. Do I use the O-Ring style rubber gasket or the flat washer style gasket on the drain and vent at top?
I have seen some talk of the flat washer for the vent and o-ring for the drain. Can anyone confirm or have a pdf that shows me?

I've always used flat up top, oring below. If I remember right, that's how the merc manual called out the numbers.

Just went and looked it up based on a 1st gen bravo 3, and it calls for a fiber washer in both locations.

For the latest generation, sn 0W250000& up, the part number changes, and it's called a seal. But, still the same for both locations.

I don't have a bravo 3. I was just looking it up for you. Yours is in their 3rd list of parts diagrams. It calls for fiber washer 12-191833 both top and bottom.

If your plugs do not have a grove for the o-ring and threads up to the flat underside of the screw head then use fiber washers.
