Default Batteries

Question on Batteries. I just pulled my 3 batteries out for the winter season. I topped them up with distilled water and put them on the charger to get them up to a full charge. 2 of them came up within 15 minutes. My other battery used solely for starting my generator would not come to a full charge even after 3-4 hours on the charger. Does this mean that the battery is shot? Is there any other reason why it won't come up to a full charge like the other 2?

get a hydrometer and check the electrolites of the battery...that will tell you how it's going and what condition it's in.....

oh yeah...you can get one at an auto parts store for little to nothing...
