coolant expansion tank almost done. I need to place one more fitting on it for a steam vent from the headate, and then pressure test it.

I need to find a different upper, or some different gears. it's got 1.84 ratio with a 21p prop and feels like it never hooks up.
overall it's responsive, and runs well. seems like the cooling system is adequate, engine ran at 192 the entire time.
I suppose I could tend to buffing the chalky off of it now.

Did you use an IR temp sensor to measure the open cooling components? Just curious.

I check the risers and manifolds on the muffs, they were at 85*
I didn't bother shooting them on the lake, but could hold a hand on the riser with no discomfort after 20 minutes of cruising. I did manage to shoot the boxes I made to connect to the y pipe, those were 125*
looking at the data log, I want to try getting cooler air into the doghouse. intake air Temps ranged from 100-110, cloudy today and maybe 75*out.

All the exhaust temps sound good.

192 F for Engine Temp seems high. My alarm goes off and the engine goes into guardian mode at 200. I was under the impression the operating temp should be around 165 - 175.
