Default My Rebuilt 4.3 is running :)

Just a short video of my rebuilt engine running, finally got it going I had the ignition timing 180 Degrees out to start with.

Won't be long now till I'm on the water

please tell me you didn't run it with no belts or water or exhaust manifolds.....

a short run with none of the above can quickly do some serious damage....

It ran for less than 30 seconds with water sat in the heads but no pump no
It will be fine for that short run it didn't even get warm

be really careful doing that..with no headers or exhaust..it's easy to burn the exhaust valves....seen it happen before....

Oh right didn't realise it might do that, thats it now anyway. Its back in the boat now just waiting to get my stainless manifolds welded up (I'm no good a tig welding) And we will be cooking, got to sort the electrics out and get polishing
