Can you see down the pipes? I don't know, never looked. Possible with your hot exhaust, you melted the chunks down and passed them out the exhaust.

Let us know how she runs.

I would keep a check on the exhaust system temps with a IR sensor just to make sure you do not melt another hose. After a few trips you will know if it's good to go.

Can't see them. Reached my arm in the pipe up to my elbow(I'm a little skinny)and couldn't feel anything. I took her out for a half hour or so, temps seem normal...could still touch the manifolds and risers with bare hands. Going to pick up an ir thermometer for the weekend and stay fairly close to home to monitor

The numbers are in: plus or minus a few degrees either side, I'm running 110 degrees on the port side and 140 on the starboard

Both sides are acceptable. Enjoy the rest of the season.

Bumping this up from last year just to update you guys. Finally took the out drive off last week; found that pesky exhaust flapper. I think I probably dodged a bullet here...

Glad you found it, this brings closure to where it is so no further concern of it blocking exhaust flow.

Enjoy the season.
