After that learning curve i also followed the line of pump a couple of times and then full throttle to start ready to pull back when she fired up,never had a problem with it starting after that,i think its all about getting to know your engine,i,m not saying you dont have a problem but it sounds the norm to me for a carbed engine.have fun

Default Update

It turns out there is an elecrical feed to the auto-choke... and mine was disconnected! Coincidence... or something more??! I personally think they forgot to hook it back up after the carb rebuild - of course the techs take on it was that it "probably wobbled loose"...
