Default 4.3 over heating

Anytime my rpm is above 4k eng over heats. 200 deg... below 4k temp goes down to 150

could be a lot of things:
1. blockage in the raw water pickup.
2. collapsing hose under high suctions.
3. raw water pump impeller shot.
4. sticking thermostat.
5. bad vaccum advance on the distributer
6. timing.

Hoses going to the port manifold were hot and hoses going to the stbd were warm

Found some trash behind this valave. Cleaned it out. Did a test run WOT for 20 min no over heating. Highest it got was 160
