Default toggle switch problem

Ok sa I have a 05 1800mx about a week ago the toggle switch for my bilge broke off. i replaced it today and had the power on while i was doing this, while under the dash all of the rest of my toggles fell off and when i touched them they were all hot to the touch in fact one burnt me a little i assume this has to be a short somewere and am wondering if anyone else has ever had the same issue so i might have some idea were to start nothing appears to be pinched or broken anywere else

Wow...can't say I've ever experienced this one....let us know how it goes!!...something sounds like it's back feeding into the switches....

Have you added/modified/fixed etc etc any electrical item on the boat recently? Added a stereo for example or stuck a lose wire back into place?

My advice is to take it to the dealer ASAP

actually no i have not added anything lately. however since posting this i found that the problem is starting in the toggle marked for accy by disconnecting each switch at a time i was able to find that it is coming from this switch. i still have to trace the wire to find out what it is connected to. when i turn the switch on it blow the fuse instantly i will let everyone know what caused this onced i have found it
