Default Perko Anchor Light

Hi Everyone,

I'm gradually getting used to my new boat, (2755SCR, year 2000 with 5.7MPI and B3) and realising all the little jobs I need to do and things I need to buy. I have had the boat since January and have taken her out about 3 times now. Generally things seem to be ok. Hopefully, I can give you some updates over the coming weeks.

Anyway, one thing I am struggling with getting any information about is the missing Perko plug in anchor light. Please can anyone help me!? The 2755SCR is very similar to the 2700SCR but for the European market. The anchor light plugs into a Perko socket on the stern bulwark (no radar arch on this one). The Perko agent in the UK tells me that I need to know the connector type and the length of the pole in order that they can offer a suitable replacement. Can anybody advise what I need?

I have attached a pic of the boat as I understand you guys like pics!

I would be very grateful if anyone can help.

Martyn

Hi Martyn
well...that definitely looks similar to my old boat...however I think the perko light is the same for all of the stern mount lights...you just need a 5ft anchor light....it only has a pos. and neg. contact in fitting....shouldn't be an issue....can you access the maxum sites catalog for your part number???

I checked and it's a 68447 stern light, 72" rnd bse...no price given..

contact your local bayliner/maxum dealer and he can order it for you....

Seapuppy that's great. Many thanks for your help. I will ask the Perko dealer here for a price.

I managed to source the correct Perko anchor light from ASAP Supplies here in the UK. They have a number in stock. Great service and support from this company and shipped in no time at all.
