Default Maxum 1997 2700 scr depth sounder??

Who makes the small depth sounder that is built into the dash? Any and all help is appreciated.. Thanks......

do you have a picture? is it a small square LED? thats what mine is.

Well, i was just looking through my paperwork for our boat and the factory Depth Sounder that came with ours is a Horizon D40BD made by Standard Communications

Default Maxum depth sounder

I will get a picture this weekend. It is an LCD diplay. Very small dash cutout. About 1" by 1 1/2 " . The instrument is back mounted and all you see is the small display. The alrm depth swith is a seperate switch on the dash.Thanks all.....

yea, mines is the same one, its made by standard communications, is your broke and need a replacement?

I think mine is broke, or at least a loose connection or bad transducer. I have not pulled the dash panel out yet so I am not sure. Will open things up a bit this weekend. I was trying to find out if I need to replace it, where I maybe able to find one.

I have the same one on my 1999 2800SCR. Anyone know how to calibrate it? It is of by about 3ft.

Anyone now where to order a new lcd display for the sounder, I can replace it myself. Mine is broken, is is a 3 digit with on both sides 8 pins.

I'd either go to boaters world or even the maxum dealer..they probably have the same model only newer..the thing has been the same unit on just about every boat for the past 10 yrs..... 8)

I saw that same question asked about 8 or 9 months ago on another user web page and someone came up with the answer and how to fix it.. The web page is www.maxumowners.org/
