Default Master Switch Location

I have a 96' 1900SR Maxum bowrider with a 4.3LX and have 2 batteries in it. I want to put in a selector switch in. Got one with the boat but can't find anyplace to put it that would be easily accesible. Also with the wiring of it, the back has 3 places for wires. One says Comm which i get is for the power from the motor and the other two say 1 and 2. I am guessing the positive wires go to them. Where does the negative wire from the motor go along with the batteries?

Thanks Group

Hope this picture helps. From the looks of it as long as the negative goes to a ground connection it'll be fine. The picture is kind of small. If it doesn't show up email me and I can send you the file.

You don't need the isolator but it really makes it easier when charging either my running the alternator or by external source. I'm gonna go with the isolator eventually.
