Default Lowrance harness cables

Hi Guru's,
I have a Lowrance gps/harness cables but no head unit. The person just removed the head unit but left all the wiring and gps unit. Will all other Lowrance units just fit in or does each model and model year change?

Not sure, do you know what unit was there?

If recent then chances the connectors are standard for new units.

He took the expensive stuff with him. The people to check with, will be the manufacturer of the display you are going to replace it with. Determine the connector you have in place, then ask Garmin, Raymarine, etc.

I've owned several lowarnces over the years and unfortunately they have changed the connectors over time. I have lowrance units on 3 boats now. 2 are gps/sonar combo units and 1 sonar, 1 gps. the oldest is 10 years old now, all are color. post a picture of it maybe we can match it up to what I have. At least you would know what you look for.
worst case you will have to run the new cables which really isn't too bad in most cases.

Thanks, I looked at the connectors and they have models so I will take that to Lowrance and see what they tell me what it went to. They are blue and looks to be relatively newer.

FYI. The units on my center console are blue. Bought them in 2004.
Not sure how long they ran that connector for.

If you are buying a new unit it will come with all new cables.

If the old ones work it will save time with the installation.
