Default Hour meter, SR1750, connection help

I purchased and aftermarket hour meter to install in my boat and was wondering if someone could advise the best way to connect this electronically ?

I was considering mounting the meter (round) in the dash because there is a spot, but I looks tricky. Any suggestions :?:

Hey Rob...welcome to the zoo....first off....as you install the meter....make sure it doesn't have an affect on the compass.....once you've established that....you can pull the dash apart where the key is...find a circuit that has no power until you kick turn the key on....when the key is on..you hvae pwr to the meter....that is where you want to either splice into or add a lug...turn the batt. pwr off before working on the circuit since you will be messing with the key......that's all there is to it......hope this helps....
