Default Entry Level GPS / Chartplotter

Does anyone have any recommendations for an inexpensive GPS? I dont need all the bells and whistles, already have separate fish finder.

Thanks everyone

are you looking for a hand held type?..the garmin 76scx is a nice unit...I have one..pretty detailed .....

if your looking for the in dash..then I got a lowrance hds5 installed last week...really sharp pic and very nice looking....

so far a very nice unit that also comes with fishfinder if you want to install that...it can be mounted on a swivel or indash like mine...

Would certainly consider a handheld unit, but since the price of a mounted unit is not that much greater, I think I am more inclined towards a mounted....but not flush mount.

This Standard Horizons CP 180 looks great for the price!

you know...when it all gets down to it....it's what features you want the unit to have...the SH looks like a nice unit....it will probably do a good job for you....so..if the price fits...go for it...

I agree
The Standard Horizon is a good unit with a good warranty and very user friendly.

What is your budget? The Garmin 440 is a very affordable unit that has most of the bells and whistles you need/want. I have the Garmin 545s, but it's a bit more expensive. I like Garmin's customer service and ease of use.
