Default Engine bay lights

I would like to add lights to my engine bay in my 94 2400scr. it is pitch black there and ennoying. what lights have you guys mounted in there and where would be the best place to mount them. picture examples would be great. thanks!

The reason that they probably don't put them in there is from a safety standpoint, if the bulb cracked and there were fuel vapors in there...kaboom. Whatever you put in there make sure it is sealed, a totally sealed LED light unit would be my choice. for the same aformentioned reason of preventing an ignition source, I would NOT locate the switch in the bilge either, better at the helm. An unsealed switch in the engine space again could provide just enough spark to blow you and your honey up. good luck.

I'd go with some led lights...you can put them just about anyplace and they will not cause a spark...however...make sure they are independantly switched so you can turn one or 2 on ..either way...it's fairly simple to do..one on one side and one on another....

thanks for the reply guys, i got some sealed led lights at pepboys last night going to put them in tonight. will throw up a picture when im done with them.
