Default Courtesy Lights Replacement

I have a 2003 2700SCR. I am looking to replace all of the courtesy light sockets. Any suggestions on where to purchase them?

I have not done so therefore I cannot recommend a place however the options online are endless.

What are you looking to replace them with; similar to OEM, LED?

If LED you have options in color or multicolor. You can set them up to change color which is a neat affect but I would only do this when not underway.

I replaced the bulbs already with LED's and it made a world of difference. While I was doing that I notice the white plastic around the lens has faded and has small cracks. So I thought I would replace all of the fixtures (not sure what to call them).

You got it, courtesy lights. You can get either the old style and install your LED bulbs or go for news LED units.

Places like West Marine carry them but you can get better deals online, eBay, yahoo, ...

I have a 01 3000 and changed out all of my courtesy lights a couple years ago. I went on ebay and found lens and bulbs (non led). They were in a package of 10 for under 20 bucks. The seller, from Indiana, was a store that sold mostly to RV manufacturers. I don't remember their name. White frame with a clear lens matched perfectly. Just snap in your led's and you are done.

I'm not sure if those lights are the same as used on my maxim 2500scr from 2002 but if yes this looks like exact match:

Optronics RV Courtesy Light - 2 Wire - Oval - Incandescent - Clear Lens w/White Base Optronics Trailer Lights 2407764B

I replaced mine 2 years ago right after I bought my boat and fitted them with LED bulbs from online store SUPER BRIGHT LEDS. After 2 years lenses faded a bit and I'm thinking about replacing them again. When I bought them originally I found them on eBay packed 6 lights for descent price. I can't find them there anymore.

So who found a good LED replacement bulb for this light? There are so many cheap dim blue Chinese bulbs on eBay that you can't tell the trash from the good stuff!

Then I replaced with Blue:

The blue looks great!

I wired in LED light strips and used 3m double sided tape to attach the strips, tucked up in the gunwale. The strips were cheap from Amazon I cut them to length, hey are waterproof and i used marine heat shrink connections to make it all secure. Being a bowrider, I was able to run one strip from the front all the way to behind the windshield. I don't have pics yet but it was simple and quite cheap. Triangle Bulbs T93007 - Waterproof Flexible LED Strip Light, 300 LED's, 3528 SMD, Pure White, 16.4 feet / 5M - String Lights - Amazon.com

There are multicolored options available too if you want to get creative.

Nice! I used these on our RV for awning lighting and loved how bright they were so I bought them for the boat. I bought some blue strips too, I'm going to connect them to one of the auxiliary switches that is not doing anything. I'll get pics when I get down to the boat, sucks not having it at home to work on.

Went down to the boat yesterday to do some work, didn't get any pics as it was too sunny, I did however, install some blue light strips for mood lighting as well and run them off of one of three accessory switches. will get pics when I go night boating again won't be until September.

Definitely post night pics! I'm looking at some speaker light rings like these for the front, bow area because there isn't a good place to mount other lights.

I know it has been a while, but here are some pictures. The picture at night has both the blue lights(wired to ACC switch) and the white LEDs(wired to courtesy light switch). The other shows just the blues on, i love the blues I don't know why but they are so neat. The blue strips are 30cm strips off amazon and the whites are 10m strips off amazon, wired directly into where the old courtesy lights used to be.
