Default Auto Tab control?

My 2000 tab controls, you can't tell it the tabs are up or down with the normal toggle switchs.

So, I am thinking of installing the LED indicator toggles, if you can read them in the bright day light.

Bennett also offers the auto tab control, like a gyroscope setting when your on plane, the unit locks in the unit for best running, and the unit is suppost to plan you out based on your conditions to automatical reach that pre set plane out.

too good to be true?

nope..I actually have had them on 2 boats...the present one and my 2700SCR...they work great...although sometimes on the new boat...it will sometimes get confused in snotty water...overall the auto tabs work quite well.....the indicators are really bright..so..yeah...go for it....

I installed Bennett tabs on my tub this past Spring and used their EIC (LED) controller - love it and, to me, the LED's are a very useful feature. The controller has brightness buttons and can easily be seen in direct sunlight. Down side? Bennett should have incorperated a light sensor to automatically adjust the LED brightness.

Also considered the ATC. Cost, a second helm mounted device (in addition to the EIC) and the way we use our boat nixed that idea. If Bennett had incorperated the EIC with the ATC (one unit) I'd have likely sprung for it.
