Default Welcome Sea Cruiser

I'm also new to the site and find it very helpful. I don't envy your project, sea water can be evil on a boat especially one that has been out of service for so long.
I would definitely have that fuel system pumped out and flushed, plus a carburetor rebuild/ tune-up. The guys gave you an awesome list, I would add inspection/ replacing seawater pump & impeller.

Good luck out there in the Tidewater.

Which ebay marine store do you use and how do you get part numbers for items you are buying for the power plant.

I go to mercruiserparts.com to find the part number and then paste that in eBay with sort by lowest price first. Then just figure out who has the best deal with shipping and such. And be careful, they can be tricky with selling aftermarket stuff in a post that can make you think itís OEM.

How do you like Little Creek now? Iíve been at Naval Station Norfolk the past two years. Was on the list for Little Creek, but didnít like the idea of charging for water and electricity. I like flushing my engines and running the A/C too much...!

I loved Lt Crk as a duty station (SBU20). I never kept my personal boat there though.
