Default New owner of 4100 SCA & new to club

Just wanted to put it out there that I am a new proud owner of a 1999, 4100 SCA. Learning lots and enjoying every minute of it. This site has been very helpful to give me insight and advice. Hope I can provide some help to one of you. I am still trying to figure everything out. I previously owned a houseboat that was very simple and self explanatory. This cruiser has a lot of stuff on it that I have no experience with. I need some major education on the electrical side. Radar, GPS, satelite tv, analog tv, etc.

Talk soon,
Eric

Well sunchaser ( Eric) welcome to the website! Alot of great people here. Good luck on your new baby. Looks like it will keep you very busy.

As a member of the United States Power Squadron I might suggest some of there classes that they offer.

Whatever you decide I am sure that you will get all the help right here......

41 feet of boat is used as a second home on the water. That's what someone does with 41 feet of boat!

Default 41 feet of Boat?

My previous boat was a 60 ft. houseboat and believe it or not, driving this 41 Maxum is like driving a compact car. It handles incredibly. I have not docked it in major wind yet but the wind has not caused an issue yet. Thought we would really miss the space coming from a houseboat, but it actually seems more spacious than the houseboat.

I agree with SunChaser, my 41's a dream to dock. I did however move down from a 54' Ocean Alexander.....

I am a long ways from you. We are in Branson, Missouri on Table Rock Lake. No bluefin Tuna here, but some great water quality and bass fishing. Thanks for the post. Have a great new year.
