Default New Boat Owner!!

Hi Everyone! Just bought a 2005 1800 SR3. Engine only has 63 hours on it and all service records. Already took it out and it is great. Any general tips for a new boat owner would be appreciated.I do have a couple of quick questions:

1. Came with snap on covers and a tarp. Should I get a custom cover for when it rains? I am storing it in the driveway for now.

2. Can I fit this in my 3 car garage? Any tips for storage?

I'm in Central Texas. Will store it at my father in laws shop for the winter and waiting to find out if the HOA will have any issues with it being in the driveway.

Thanks!

Welcome aboard!

1. yes get a cover, can be a full boat cover such as what Overton's sells.

2. Cannot answer this question. You need to measure how wide the door opening is vs the max width of the trailer at the tires. Also how long the rig is (trailer tongue tip to prop) vs the depth of the garage bay.
